How to calculate CPI

To calculate cost-per-install (CPI), you take the total dollar amount spent for a given time period and you divide by the amount of installs for that same time period.

Example: Tedy ran a Lyft app install campaign last month that drove 1,865,542 impressions, 19,365 clicks and 7,685 app installs. The total campaign spend was $6,964.

The CPI for that Lyft app install campaign last month was $0.91 (6,964 / 7,685 = 0.9061).
